When I first picked up this book to read, I thought it would be a quick and easy read, considering it’s length and to-the-point blurb.
Turns out, I was quite wrong. This is the shortest and quickest review I’ve ever done because there just wasn’t anything to say.

Plot:
The book is about a nineteen-year-old man, James Auchinleck Grant, who has a rough start in life, and continues mixing with the wrong crowd and making mindless decisions that get him caught up in a sticky situation that can possibly cost him his life.
Thoughts:
I honestly didn’t find anything ‘wow‘ about the book. It didn’t bring any significant insight or interest, and I wonder really why it had to be written. It’s based on a true story with a few details altered, but there was nothing in this book that moved me.
The language was a little hard to understand, especially the slang used which completely went over my head most of the time.
Even though the book is short, it took me a couple of days to finish reading it because I struggled to keep my focus on it.

Overview:
In all honesty, not a great book, even as a non-fiction and didn’t hold any significant value.
My Rating:
The book has a rating of 4 on GoodReads. I gave it a 3.
