These two books were immediately available on NetGalley and they seemed appropriate because it was the festive season build up time so of course I went along and read them.
Children’s books hold a certain magical innocence to them and I love coming across one sometimes to give me that breath of fresh needed between the more serious books I read.

This cute little Christmas read is one that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Filled with beautiful illustrations and a message carrying the Christmas spirit into your heart. It’s about creating magic while not forgetting what Christmas is all about – giving is more than receiving. Such a warm read filled with enough happiness to make your heart grow a little.
I had this book in audio form and the sound effects were just a surprise bonus!

What if Christmas magic could grow forever?
There’s nothing about Christmas that Holly Holiday doesn’t love. That is until her parents decide to drag her beloved tree to the street the day after Christmas. Holly then decides that magic shouldn’t just end as soon as the yuletide festivities are over. Instead, magic needs to grow!
With Holly’s willful determination and Christmas spirit, she embarks on a years-long journey to change tradition while keeping the magic alive well beyond the holidays. This is a remarkable tale about a young girl’s resolution to nurture the magic of Christmas until it grows into an evergreen forest.
Thoughts:
Another cute little Christmas read to enjoy, about a little girl who thinks a little further than everyone else and comes up with a genius environmently-friendly way to enjoy Christmas as well as preserve all those used trees by turning them into a festive forest. A sweet picture book with some good morals to pass on.
My Rating:
The book has a rating of 4.25 on GoodReads. I gave it a 5.
