Last year I compiled this list a little differently by only choosing the top five reads for 2021 as well as my book of the year choice.
For 2022’s list, this method proved to be a little more complicated because I read so many books and I couldn’t choose just five from the list. I wasn’t going to break my head over this dilemma and instead I decided to choose my favourite books from each genre I read.
Which turned out to be a lot… 24 genres in total! Each of these books stood out tremendously to me, and I’m so glad I gave them a chance to be read, and in some cases, absolutely devoured.
While there were some hard choices I still had to make with certain genres, in the end, I was able to finish this list with my category winners for 2022.
